Racing begins at 7pm with all racers being required to sign in at Race Control . The first track action begins as soon as the track has been built. During this time racers go out on track to test setup, and maybe try new tires. As soon as everybody has signed in the participating drivers are sorted in to Qualifying Heats. The heats are sorted in Ability to create fairer racing, if you are new to the club you will start in the lowest group, your ability will improve if you have good races and will drop if you do not. There are 3 rounds of Qualifying. Each racer will have 3 x 5 minute races to set there best amount of laps around the track, so if you have a bad race you have another chance to set your best time in the next round. During the Qualifying stage of the Evening you are racing against yourself and time, to set your best result, so if another faster car is behind you, it is best to let him through to save causing a accident and costing yourselves time. After each race you are to Marshall the next race unless under the age of 10. After Qualifying the Finals are sorted by the Qualifying results, so if you set a good qualifying time you could be promoted in to the next group, but if you had a bad qualifying you may be dropped in to the group below. The finals are started with the slowest qualifying cars, (usually the D or C Final) and then goes through to the faster cars. The A final is the last race of the evening. If you raced at that meeting you are expected to stay and help pack away the track. A 10 series Championship is run through out the year and 8 of the rounds count towards the final standings. Trophies are awarded at the end of each series to the winners of each class (Junior and Senior) and the runners up respectfully.
